Anne Portell - Founder
As founder of Everest A/R Management Group, Inc. in 1999, I continue to oversee operational plans, expenses, budgets, and identify and develop short-term and long-term goals. With extensive experience and leadership in medical claims processing and A/R management both at a large healthcare system and at Everest, I strive to maximize the potential of our staff and increase reimbursement for our clients.
Amie Zamora - Director Operations
As the Director of Operations, I am privileged to be the go-to person and first point of service for clients, customers and staff. My interpersonal skills, resource management and result-oriented mentality along with our commitment to maximizing opportunities for growth strengthen Everest's administrative team. With 34 years in the healthcare industry, I have extensive experience in A/R management and have worked on every level of the revenue cycle from beginning to end.
Trish Hunter – Lead Claims Processor
I have been with Everest A/R Management since 1999 as a lead claims processor. Prior to joining Everest, I worked for Shands Hospital Patient Financial Services where I held a number of positions both in insurance claims processing as well as customer service. I love the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.
Amelia Frost - Billing Manager
I am a Certified Professional Biller. I have over 20 years’ experience in a variety of customer service industries, which has given me the foundation to provide quality support to our clients.
Cammie Dennison – Posting Associate
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, I have lived in North Carolina for 20 years. I have enjoyed a career in medical coding, billing, and posting for over 25 years. I am a mom to 4 wonderful people and a grandma to 3, who are the light of my life.
Sarah Workman – Billing Associate
I am 21 years old, have been married for 2 years and have a 1-year-old puppy that loves to play.
Bobbie Bartlett – Part-time Billing Associate
I am semi-retired from 15 years of Public Health. Working from home has been a Blessing.
Deborah Davila - AR Associate
My name is Deborah Davila and I’ve been in the medical field for over 10 years, working professional and institutional billing. I’m a certified professional coder and keep my membership and education with AAPC. I have a vast knowledge in the revenue cycle process as I have worked every stage of claims, from coding, billing, payment posting and appeals. On my free time I love being outdoors and I’m a hobbyist beekeeper.
Shandel Beaver – Posting Associate
As a Posting Associate, I post payments and interpret denial codes. Prior to this role, I gained extensive experience and leadership skills as a retail store manager. I led one of the highest volume stores in the nation and received multiple awards including Pinnacle level. I left this career when we relocated to Atsugi, Japan. I married my high school sweetheart and have been a military spouse for twenty-six years. We are both originally from Ellijay, GA.
